Although any speaker has its strengths and weaknesses, especially in a limited budget, low-priced speakers are not easy to get perfect results, but regardless of the price and level of speakers, there is a certain reference standard or referential direction.
1. Test the quality of low frequencies
The low frequencies produced by inferior speakers can be deafening, but they are completely bloated and loose, lacking in layering and solidity. A good low frequency should be clean and bright, clearly layered, will not drag mud and water, as if the soul is not dispersed, even if a variety of low-frequency instruments such as large and small drums, bass guitar and piano bass, can be easily distinguished. So don't be easily fooled by the sense of volume of low frequencies, inferior low frequencies are not as natural and comfortable as clean sounds.
2. Test the vocals of the mid-frequency frequencies
The human voice is the most commonly heard sound, and it is not difficult to detect the advantages and disadvantages, pay attention to whether the human voice has an unusual nasal sound or the feeling of being pouted. The "box sound" of some speakers can also greatly interfere with the midrange, making the sound in this band blurred. Midrange coloration is more severe than other frequencies because most audible frequencies, or frequencies of music, are concentrated in the midrange range, which is an obstacle to replay for almost all kinds of songs.
3. Test the flexibility of high frequencies
Inferior high frequencies are shrill ear insertions, which are a headache to hear, and in extreme cases turn the bel canto of a violin or soprano into a sharp noise of brakes. Similarly, different instrumental music in the treble produces different textures, and good treble can be distinguished. No matter how good or bad the high frequency is, you can even distinguish the different rhymes played by two different years and different woods. The easiest thing to grasp is that a good treble is not intimidating to listen to, the pores are erected, and it will not make people more tired the more you listen, and it should be tough and elastic, smooth and layered, and it can still be easily heard at the highest point without diacriticism (of course, not based on the recording of the voice-shifting singer as a reference)
